The Food Bank of Iowa needs support in many ways to fulfill its mission of alleviating hunger and reducing food waste. The Food Bank of Iowa is grateful to many for their financial contributions. Without financial assistance from individuals, corporations, organizations and foundations, we would not be able to supply the needed food to our partner agencies for their clients.

Send a minimum donation of $10 by texting the word ACTNOW to phone number 41010. Donors will receive a confirmation via text message after their donation is received and accepted, with a one-time charge appearing on their next monthly billing statement. All donations are tax deductible.

Individual Donors

• Donate online- donate instantly using our secure online form.
• Donate by mail - print, complete and mail our short donation form with
  your contribution. 

 Types of donations:

• Make a one time donation - all gifts are needed and appreciated.
• Make a tribute donation - make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one or special occasion. Complete the tribute section on either the online or printable donation form with the appropriate information. The Food Bank of Iowa will notify the honoree with acknowledgement of your gift.
• Employer Matching Program - many companies offer employee matching programs. Check with your employer to determine if they match
  charitable contributions.
• Give a gift of stock - giving a gift of stock is an advantageous way to make
  a donation.
